Curtis Phelan has lived in the Triangle area since moving here in the mid 1970’s. Curt has been associated with the building industry since 1988. During that time he has been involved with hundreds of homes. Using that experience, Curt established Phelan Building & Development in 1996, with the desire of becoming one of the best homebuilders in the triangle.  While trying to achieve this goal he has spent thousands of hours on the jobsite working closely with hand picked subcontractors who share his strong desire for quality and craftsmanship.

Curt is known for his attention to the smallest detail. He is constantly scrutinizing his workmanship never accepting second best. This is a direct reflection of his personal character and it shows. Curt believes every home his team produces is an extension of himself, the result of over 10 years of working to be one of the best builders in the triangle. Ask him if he has succeeded and he will say “Not Yet.”

Each home is a stepping-stone to achieving this lofty goal. His homes have been featured in the “Parade of Homes” for the past seven years winning numerous awards and 8 perfect scores. His many achievements demonstrate the love for his work and his relentless pursuit in becoming the “Best.” It also shows in his finished product, “Your Home.”
